Daniel Colalillo is a New York City based classical pianist who has performed in numerous recitals at Carnegie Hall sponsored by the “Piano Teachers Society of America.” Following his 2008 debut performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 2 op. 18 in B flat major with MK Symphony, Daniel has given solo recitals at venues such as: Carnegie Hall, Bargemusic, Steinway Hall, Purchase Performing Arts Center, Randolph Performing Arts Center (NJ), and many more.
Daniel enjoys playing chamber music with his friends. Also Daniel’s dedication to new music led him to premiering solo works as well as chamber music. He also performed with MACE (Mannes American Composers Ensemble) with directed by composer Lowell Liebermann; and performed the concert version premiere of Tobias Picker’s ballet score “Awakenings.” He graduated with his Masters in Piano Performance on a merit-based scholarship at Mannes College The New School For Music where he studied with Thomas Sauer and Eteri Andjaparidze.
